Between November and March, Kova homes took part in 64 flexibility events, shifting usage for a few minutes at a time when the grid was under strain.

What happened

Each event paused EV charging, ran homes from batteries or eased heat pumps for 30 to 60 minutes. Most households never noticed.

Where the money went

Every penny went to households, averaging £30 per home over the winter.
